Import and store OpenAPI 3.x specifications in your stackgate.ai workspace. Automatic MCP tool generation from imported specs is on the roadmap.
Prerequisites
- A stackgate.ai company account with builder access
- An OpenAPI 3.x specification URL or file for your API
Getting started
- Sign in to stackgate.ai.
- Open Integrations → OpenAPI Import.
- Upload or paste your OpenAPI spec.
- Review imported endpoints in the workspace.
Imported specs are stored for review today. MCP tool generation, permission review, and deployment are not available yet.
Using with AI clients
When OpenAPI-to-MCP generation ships, generated servers will receive dedicated MCP endpoints. Until then, imported specs are for review only.
Troubleshooting
- Invalid spec — ensure OpenAPI 3.x format and resolvable
$refpaths. - No generated tools yet — import-only mode stores the spec; generation is on the roadmap.
