Overview

Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) weather forecasts. No personal DMI account required.

Prerequisites

  • A stackgate.ai account

Getting credentials

  1. Open Integrations → DMI.
  2. Click Activate and save your preferred default location if prompted.

stackgate.ai uses hub-wide DMI API credentials.

Using with AI clients

  • Dedicated endpoint: POST /mcp/dmi
  • Private gateway: dmi__* tools

Troubleshooting

  • Invalid coordinates — provide latitude/longitude within Denmark or supported regions per DMI API rules.

Available tools

  • list-weather-stations-tool

    List DMI meteorological observation stations with optional filters for status, type, bounding box, and datetime.

  • list-observations-tool

    List DMI meteorological observations with optional filters for station, parameter, area, and time period.

  • get-point-forecast-tool

    Get weather forecast for a geographic point from DMI Forecast EDR (default model: harmonie_dini_sf for Denmark). Temperatures are in Kelvin.
